    Scottish Water has been found guilty of supplying water unfit for human consumption to consumers in the Moray village of Tomintoul in October 2009.

    Sue Petch has been appointed as the new DWQR and starts work on the 4th October. Sue is a chemist by profession has worked for Northumbrian Water for 18 years in a number of different roles including Asset Strategy Manager Water for three years and Water Quality Manager for 7 years.

  • DWQR Completes Investigation into Burncrooks Incident

    DWQR has investigated the above incident when elevated concentrations of aluminium entered the water supply in parts of North West Glasgow on 17-19 March 2011. Nearly 12,000 consumers were unable to use their tap water for drinking or cooking. The full report into the incident is published today.
