Scotland's Water Quality Compliance

These charts shows water quality compliance each month against the regulatory standards at consumers' taps. You'll see that compliance for some parameters can vary a little bit with the season, but overall compliance remains extremely high, with well in excess of 99% of samples passing the tests. The 10 Key Parameters are shown, although 46 parameters are tested for in total. Further testing is done at treatment works and storage points. The 10 Key parameters are explained here.

Data is provided each month to DWQR by Scottish Water. The charts are updated monthly, although there is a lag of a few months due to the time needed for analysis of samples and the transfer and processing of data.
