DWQR Enforcement Action
DWQR has powers of enforcement under the Water Industry (Scotland) Act 2002. It may use these powers where it believes Scottish Water has failed in its duty to provide wholesome water. DWQR must publicise enforcement action in the areas affected, and Scottish Water commits a criminal offence if it fails to comply with the terms of an enforcement notice.
